Reducing ‘Do Not Attends’ as part of Covid-19 recovery
“As part of London’s recovery from Covid-19 we need to recover the maximum elective (care planned in advance) activity possible. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, hospitals have an increased backlog of appointments for elective care services. If patients miss their appointment, they are going to be waiting much longer for the next one – potentially up to a year. Using the shared care record I can see upcoming hospital appointments my patients are booked in for and can remind them to make sure they attend.”
